ACEP Scholarships

ACEP Scholarships (Years 5 to 10)
(Current & Non-Current Students can apply)

Australian Co-operative Entry Program (ACEP) gives students the opportunity to apply for an Academic Scholarship provided by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER).

Who’s Eligible?

Students undertake the Entry Program Scholarship Test and a subsidy on fees may be awarded, subject to the performance assessment.  Applicable to all independent schools in South Australia, ACEP Scholarships are open to all students who will be in years 5 – 10 in 2026.

What does the Scholarship cover?

Academic Scholarships offered for the 2026 academic year provide a discount to the tuition fee component of the school fees up to Year 12 (please note that it does not extend to the curriculum fee or the cost of uniform or textbooks).

Strong academic results must be maintained throughout the duration of the scholarship. Annual reviews are conducted to determine whether the scholarship is being utilised effectively.

About the Test

Examinations take place on Saturday, 1 February 2025 at the St George College,, Senior Campus (75 Rose Street, Mile End) from 8.45 am to 12.15 pm.

St George College is currently offering scholarships for 2026 entry.

Primary Scholarship – Child will be in Year 5 or 6 in 2026

Adelaide Comets Scholarship

St George College is pleased to offer a full scholarship to one Adelaide Comets Football Club player each year. The Adelaide Comets Scholarship provides an opportunity for a young person to join our College and enjoy the benefits of the our broad, rich and engaging learning experience.
The Adelaide Comets Scholarship reinforces the strong partnership between St George College and the Adelaide Comets Football Club.
Who can apply?

  • A player registered with the Adelaide Comets Football Club
  • A student who is not currently enrolled at St George College


How to apply?


What criteria are used in awarding the Adelaide Comets Scholarship?

  • An academic report showing a B average or better
  • No history of behavioural issues
  • A letter of support from the Adelaide Comets Football Club
  • An interview with the Principal of St George College


The Scholarship

  • 100% remission on school fees for the time the student is at the college
  • Student must maintain a B average or better for the scholarship to be ongoing
  • Student must be a positive role model in terms of behaviour if the scholarship is to be ongoing
