The Comets, formed in 1994, have risen to be one of the most successful clubs in South Australia with teams participating across junior boys & girls, and senior men’s and women’s competitions. Based on the western outskirts of the CBD (West Tce), only a short distance to the College, the Comets pride themselves on their family values whilst striving for excellence.

The partnership will see the Comets conduct skill sessions for students, access to their facilities for events and games, plus one student will have the opportunity to join the Comets with their fees fully covered. Further, the College will also provide one Comets player the opportunity to join on a full scholarship. St George College Principal, Peter Karamoshos, said “This is an exciting opportunity for the College and a way to grow our already strong soccer program”. “We feel the Comets share similar values to our College and families therefore making it an easy decision to develop a more formal relationship”.
