On Tuesday June 10, St George College were honoured to host Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, accompanied by Mr Rod Bunten.
Her Excellency engaged with members of our student leadership team, offering insightful advice on future career pathways across South Australian industries; and encouraged them to find a job that they can enjoy and excel at.
During her visit, the Governor was extremely impressed by our St George Culinary Institute students and the morning tea they had beautifully prepared for her and Mr Bunten’s visit. We are proud to be one of just three schools where students created the food themselves – a testament to their stand-out talent and dedication!
The conversation extended beyond careers, touching on the power of volunteering, giving back, and developing entrepreneurial mindsets; inspiring our students to see how their contributions today can shape a better tomorrow.
We sincerely thank Her Excellency and Mr Bunten for their time, encouragement, and motivating impact their visit has made on our students.
