AISSA’s Paper found here describes four school review models that form part of a continuous improvement approach. Each of the four models has a strong focus on enhanced teaching and learning. Each model is described in some detail and includes a précis and comment on its relevance or application to schools in the Independent sector, particularly for AISSA’s non-systemic schools.
Dr Neville Highett’s External Review – Communities Making a Difference Review is a powerful tool in accelerating school improvement initiatives.
Dr Highett was recently the Principal of Immanuel College and is the current chair of The Education and Early Childhood Services Registration and Standards Board of SA.
The Board is confident this is an investment towards a very bright future for this College. The initiative will also provide our incoming Principal, Mrs Kadis, with the ideal platform for improving educational standards to new levels of excellence.
